A competitive call for proposals offering EU-funded individual fellowships for a total of €240.50 million has just opened. Zaragoza Logistics Center is searching for researchers interested in Marie Curie Fellowships to carry out research stays at our institution.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships (IF) support researchers with a doctorate or at least four years of experience to advance in their research and to acquire or transfer knowledge, by moving within Europe or coming to Europe. All research fields may be funded. Researchers currently working outside Europe who would like to return here have special conditions, as do individuals resuming their research career after a break. Individual fellowships (IF) usually cover two years’ salary, a mobility allowance, research costs and overheads for the host institution. Individual researchers submit proposals for funding in liaison with their planned host organisation.

What are the requirements?
Researchers can be of any nationality. To apply for the grant, the researcher has to team up with a host institution in an EU member state or Horizon 2020 associated country that is different from their own. Host organisations can be academic or non-academic. Among other requirements, the proposal has to demonstrate excellent research potential and show significant development possibilities in the researcher’s career.

How to apply?
Researchers interested in applying in collaboration with Zaragoza Logistics Center should send their curriculum and propose a research topic that fits with the areas of research of ZLC (http://www.zlc.edu.es/research/). Each candidate will be evaluated individually and in case a common idea for a research project can be found proposals will be submitted in reply to the call H2020-MSCA-IF-2014t hat is open until 11 September 2014 at 17.00 Brussels time. Proposals are selected in an open competition carried out by the European Commission. Selection is through transparent, open and public procedures carried out by the European Commission.
