Zaragoza Logistics Center
Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC) is an international center of excellence for research and education in logistics and supply chain management that actively engages with industry and the public sector to develop and disseminate knowledge. To accomplish its mission ZLC partnered with the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics to form the MIT-Zaragoza International Logistics Program. ZLC now has an opening for a PhD & Executive Education Coordinator within the Education Department.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Serve as point of contact relative to any administrative issue related to PhD program, PhD Summer Academy Program and Executive Education programs.
Prepare market researches and benchmarking about the supply and demand of Executive Education.
Interaction with internal and external Professors, Calendars management (PhD program and ExEd)
Coordinate the end to end process of Executive Education programs: writing of proposals, organization and execution.
Manages and processes all incoming documents from PhD students. This includes but is not limited to registration, graduation and transcript requests.
Support PhD students upon their arrival in Zaragoza related to residence permits, permanent and temporary accommodation, police clearance, medical support and other issues
Coordinate enrollment process. Manage calendar for appointments, handle academic forms and documentation to submit to the University under strict deadlines.
Prepare expenses reports
Maintain records in PhD students and Executive Education databases (CRM, UZ)
Effectively respond to all prospective students inquiries
Review internal operating and administrative procedures and implement changes to improve efficiency. Minimum
Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of related experience in administrative positions
Strong interpersonal skills with both faculty, staff and student populations
Fluent in English and Spanish
Experience with student information systems/computer software
Experience working in a higher education context
Must possess the energy and determination necessary to provide valuable and timely services to prospective and newly enrolling student
Must be flexible to adapt his/her working schedule in case is necessary due to the Executive Education courses
