Dr. Youyi Feng

Dr. Youyi Feng

Dr. Feng was Professor of Supply Chain Management at the MIT-Zaragoza International Logistics Program and Research Affiliate at the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics.

He obtained his PhD in Industrial Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science, Columbia University.

He has over 20 years’ experience as both a private consultant and lecturer, working for companies such as TNT, Enron and the Royal Bank of Scotland and he has held previous academic positions at the National University of Singapore and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, among others.

Dr. Feng’s research interests include green or low-carbon supply chain management, finance engineering and operations and market risk management, real options theory and applications, models of economic development and pollution control, water system management, urban and township planning, energy demand and price equilibrium forecasting, and stochastic control and modelings of manufacturing, economic and social systems.

Dr. Feng has published widely in a variety of academic journals and is a reviewer for many of them. He is a member of INFORMS since 1994 and was on the organizing committee for the Global Supply Chain Conference held in Beijing in 2002.
