Lombard, Illinois USA (July 30, 2014)–The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) announced the selection of the ZLOG Alumni Susan Conley, program specialist at Caterpillar, Inc., and Mengxiao (Michelle) Zhang, team lead, Lean Logistics and Operations at LeanCor Supply Chain Group, as the recipients of its Emerging Leader Award.
Conley and Zhang will be recognized during the Opening General Session of CSCMP’s Annual Global Conference, Monday, September 22, 2014. The two winners will also participate in a panel session in the Young Professionals’ Track held at the event. In addition, they will be featured in various organization publications, including CSCMP’s Supply Chain Quarterly magazine, the CSCMP membership newsletter, and the Young Professionals e-bulletin.

The CSCMP Emerging Leader Award was created to recognize outstanding supply chain management and logistics professionals, aged 30 and under, for their contributions to and future influence on these two industries.
CSCMP’s Annual Global Conference is the largest of its kind for the supply chain management profession, and will put an intense focus on innovative solutions that attendees can take back to their companies and use. The event will host more than 3,000 practitioners, educators, and thought leaders from around the world. More than 100 educational sessions are planned.
