Conley and Zhang will be recognized during the Opening General Session of CSCMP’s Annual Global Conference, Monday, September 22, 2014. The two winners will also participate in a panel session in the Young Professionals’ Track held at the event. “The future of our industry lies with today’s young professionals who will be tomorrow’s leaders,” said Rick Blasgen, CSCMP president and CEO. “It is important that we recognize the contributions of emerging talent and the positive impact they have on our profession today and will continue to have in the future.”
The CSCMP Emerging Leader Award was created to recognize outstanding supply chain management and logistics professionals, aged 30 and under, for their contributions to and future influence on these two industries.
CSCMP’s Annual Global Conference is the largest of its kind for the supply chain management profession, and will put an intense focus on innovative solutions that attendees can take back to their companies and use.
