
Zaragoza, March 11, 2026. Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC) has been awarded the Research & Educational Institute of the Year distinction by the international organization Business Circle, which recognizes institutions that stand out for their contributions to research and education worldwide.
The award acknowledges ZLC’s track record as a global benchmark in logistics and supply chain management, as well as its role in educating professionals and developing applied research in collaboration with companies and institutions around the world.
ZLC Managing Director Isabel Nuez stated that this recognition “reinforces the center’s commitment to generating impactful knowledge and to training leaders capable of transforming global logistics. It is also a recognition of the work of our academic community, researchers, students, and industry partners who make this innovation ecosystem possible.”
Meanwhile, ZLC Academic Director Rafael de Miguel highlighted that “this award recognizes a model of educational excellence based on international collaboration with the world’s leading technological university, applied research focused on industrial innovation, and a constant connection between academia and industry to address the major challenges facing supply chains.”
This recognition adds to other recent awards received by the center, including the Premio Tercer Milenio, which highlighted ZLC’s contribution to logistics innovation and to positioning Aragón as a leading logistics hub.
Zaragoza Logistics Center is an international research and education center focused on logistics and supply chain management, established by the Government of Aragón in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and affiliated with the University of Zaragoza. ZLC is part of the international MIT Global SCALE Network.
