The Paraninfo de la Universidad de Zaragoza hosted the graduation ceremony for the 2026 class of Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC). A total of 43 students received their diplomas in an event marking the beginning of their professional careers in a strategic and rapidly evolving sector.
During the opening, the Regional Minister for Housing, Public Works, Logistics and Territorial Cohesion of the Government of Aragón and president of the ZLC Foundation, Octavio López, congratulated the graduates and highlighted the diversity of a class made up of 18 different nationalities. “This diversity reflects the international character of ZLC, an academic institution capable of projecting global talent from Aragón to the world,” he stated.

López also praised the work of Rafael de Miguel and Isabel Nuez: “In just over a year, the management team has strengthened two key strategic goals: improving the quality and specialization of education and building partnerships to attract talent and align training with market needs.”
Over more than 20 years, ZLC has trained nearly 5,450 students from over 30 countries, achieving a 90% employability rate. “These figures show that specialized logistics education is a cornerstone of the new digital and hyperconnected economy,” López added.

He also emphasized the importance of the logistics sector in Aragón, which now represents 7.7% of the region’s GDP, bringing together around 1,000 companies and generating 35,600 quality jobs.
He announced the upcoming Aragón Logistics Strategic Plan 2025–2040, which will define a roadmap for the next 15 years. “We will focus on creating the ‘double logistics arrow’ based on existing public platforms such as PLAZA, PLATEA and PLHUS, while promoting new developments in Tarazona, Calatayud, Fraga and Alcañiz,” he explained.
The minister also noted that 2026 will be a key year, marking the 25th anniversary of PLAZA, with the start of long-awaited works on the northern access via Puente Turiaso.
Finally, he referred to the transformation of the Torre del Agua, which will become the “Great Lighthouse of Aragón Logistics,” reinforcing Zaragoza’s global positioning.
He concluded by encouraging graduates to embrace the opportunities ahead in a dynamic sector, carrying the mark of excellence of ZLC.
