
Research Fellow at the MIT-Zaragoza Program
Dr. Sara Sánchez is Research Fellow at the MIT-Zaragoza International Logistics Program.
Dr. Sánchez is an Industrial Engineer, she holds a PhD in Transport Engineering and Infrastructure focused on Sustainable Mobility and Urban Distribution of Goods and is also Technical Engineer in Industrial Chemistry (1st of the promotion), the three degrees from the University of Zaragoza. In addition, she has completed a master's degree in Industrial Organization at the Santa Teresa de Jesús de Ávila Catholic University.
She has developed part of her professional career at the “Instituto de Investigación en Ingeniería de Aragón (I3A)” as an engineering researcher in sustainable mobility and has broad experience in international transport and logistics companies developing strategic projects for the company in different European countries and national and international logistics implantations.

Supply Chain Digitalization
The Supply Chain Digitalization Research Group is focused on how digital technologies enable the supply chain to attain situational awareness and context-sensitive decision making, becoming customer-driven, agile and responsive.

Sustainable Networks
Sustainable Networks Group investigates how environmental concerns could be integrated into operational decision making throughout the supply chain.

Transport Networks & Urban Mobility
The Transport Research Group works on issues related to infrastructure, freight transportation and mobility, logistics corridors and the transport policies of Spain, the EU and Latin America.
