FUNDACION ZARAGOZA LOGISTICS CENTER, is responsible for the processing of personal data and informs you that these data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of current regulations on personal data protection: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of these data (RGPD); and Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (hereinafter LOPDGDD), for which the following treatment information is provided:

Purpose of processing

  • Have the necessary information about their participation in the training program: admission, selection tests, enrollment, development, evaluation and qualification, control of the use of resources and facilities, billing, etc.
  • Send information related other programs, courses, events, conferences which may be of your interest, through broadcast emails, newsletters or other communication.
  • Manage your inclusion in the job market.
  • Creating an email account and profile book
  • Creating MIT Accounts, MIT Certificates, MIT Visit and participation in the Alumni Association.
  • Image and videos capture that will be used and published in the following media: blog, social networks, magazines, promotions, etc., which is carried out under the Image Provision Agreement.
  • Transmission of commercial advertising correspondence by email, MMS, social communities or any other electronic or physical media (present or future) which enable commercial correspondence, provided that it has been consented or explicitly requested. This correspondence will be undertaken by the CONTROLLER and be in regard to their activities, events, services and/or news.
  • Undertaking statistical studies.

Legal basis for data processing:

  • The treatment is necessary for the execution of a contract in which the person concerned is part (Article 6.1.b RGPD)
  • The treatment is necessary for the fulfillment of a legal obligation applicable to the controller (Article 6.1.c RGPD
  • The interested party gave their consent for the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes (Article 6.1.a RGPD)
  • The treatment is necessary for the fulfillment of a legal obligation applicable to the controller (Article 6.1.c RGPD

If your consent has been requested for any of the treatments that we are going to carry out, we inform you that you can withdraw it at any time.

Data processed: Name, surnames, gender, date of birth, nationality, race, personal email address, Skype address, passport, academic certificate, letters of recommendation, resume, essay, video, available financial resources, registration form, authorization of the rector, code of ethical conduct, copy of the passport, copy of the visa for Spain, copy of the visa for the USA, copy of the health insurance, NIE, internal Facebook, training, work experience, hobbies, personal email address, image, financial data for scholarship application.

Data Communications:

1) The data will be communicated to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, for the following purposes:

  • Creation of MIT Accounts. Data provided: Full name, passport copy, its validity, date of birth.
  • MIT certificates. Data provided: Full name, date and place of birth.
  • MIT stay management. Data provided: Full name, date and place of birth, passport copy, its validity, nationality, ZLC & MIT email, resume and profile book (internal Facebook, CV).
  • Participation in Alumni Association. Data provided: Full name, date and place of birth, passport copy, its validity, nationality, ZLC & MIT email.

2) The data will be communicated to the University of Zaragoza, in order to manage the student’s enrollment, insurance management of the University and management of student internships (through Universa).

3) The data will be communicated to other students of the same class and will be published in the student section of the website. https://www.zlc.edu.es/

4) Your image may be included in photos and videos that will be used and published in the following media: blog, social networks, magazines, promotions, etc.

Apart from these cases, the data provided will not be transferred to third parties unless there is a legal obligation. However, on occasions, it is necessary for the data to be brought to the attention of ZLC collaborators for the correct development of their participation in the training activity, such as travel managers, accommodation, maintenance, etc., with whom it has been held the corresponding treatment agreement on behalf of third parties.

Data conservation criteria: the data will be kept as long as there is a mutual interest to maintain the end of the treatment and when it is no longer necessary for that purpose, it will be deleted with adequate security measures to guarantee the pseudonymization of the data or their total destruction. Normally, the data will be kept as long as its deletion is not requested.

International data transfers: The communication of data to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, supposes an international data transfer, since it is located in the United States.

In this case, the transfer is made because it is necessary to achieve the training action (Article 6.1.b RGPD) and based on the consent given by the student (Article 6.1.a RGPD).

Rights:

Any person has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not the ZARAGOZA LOGISTICS CENTER FOUNDATION is processing personal data that concerns them or not.

The persons concerned have the right to access their personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

In certain circumstances, the interested parties may request the limitation of the processing of their data, in which case we will only keep them for the exercise or defense of claims.

In certain circumstances and for reasons related to their particular situation, the interested parties may oppose the processing of their data. In this case, the data will no longer be processed, except for compelling legitimate reasons, or the exercise or defense of possible claims.

To conclude, the interested parties have the right to withdraw the consent given for the processing of data for certain purposes.

The parties concerned may exercise the indicated rights by contacting ZLC to the following address: Av. Ranillas, 5, Building 5A (EXPO), ground floor, 50018 Zaragoza or to the email address [email protected] , attaching, a photocopy of the DNI or passport in law that allows to prove their identity.

You also have the possibility of submitting a claim to the Spanish Agency for Data Protection (aepd.es) in case you consider that the processing of your data is not being adequate.
