On Wednesday, January 22, 2014, in the MIT Media Lab (75 Amherst Street, Building E14, Floor 6), the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics will host a Research Expo for over 110 supply chain master’s students from the MIT Global Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Network as they showcase their company-sponsored thesis projects from companies such as BASF, BNSF Railway, C.H. Robinson, Coyote Logistics, Dow AgroSciences, General Mills, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Niagara Bottling, Ralph Lauren, Schlumberger, and many more!
Representing the MIT Global SCALE Network:
- MIT (Supply Chain Management program)
- Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC)
- Center for Latin-American Logistics Innovation (CLI)
- Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (MISI)
The poster session will be immediately preceded by the Talent Management for HR Executives.
On the sixth floor gallery of the MIT Media Lab, student teams will present posters describing their company-sponsored thesis project. Walk around, meet the students, and see the projects.
MIT CTL researchers and faculty will also present brief presentations on their latest research.
This event would be of interest to both supply chain executives and their supporting HR / Recruiting professionals. Attendees of the New England Roundtable, APICS, and Supply Chain Council are invited to attend. Sport coat and tie recommended.
Cost: Members of local supply chain organizations who will be attending Research Expo in place of their monthly meeting (CSCMP – NERT, APICS – North Shore, APICS – South Shore, APICS – Boston, Supply Chain Council) will be charged $20 for admission. This event is free for all other attendees, including MIT CTL Partner companies and guests, students, and employees.
