Welcome to the 2013 Mathematics of Operations and Logistics Conference (MOLC 2013) to be held in Zaragoza, Spain from June 26 to June 28, 2013.
We are planning an intimate academic conference, consisting of a mix of plenary and work-contributed sessions. This conference will bring together a select group of key speakers to present and discuss new advances at the crossroads of operations and mathematics. The MOLC 2013 is an initiative of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications of the University of Zaragoza and the Zaragoza Logistics Center with the collaboration of the University of Calgary. We will be hosting the first conference, which we hope to repeat successfully in the future.
The dates are arranged to coincide with EURO-Rome 2013. The MOLC 2013 will take place in Zaragoza, a beautiful city at the foot of the Pyrenees located mid-way between Madrid and Barcelona, that can be easily reached from both cities in a little over an hour by high-speed train. Zaragoza also houses the biggest logistics park in Southwest Europe, PLAZA – a 13 million square-meter complex of distribution, intermodal transportation, customs, commercial, and recreational services.
