What’s behind RFID? Tests conducted by the Log.ID-Lab

Abstract
The Automatic Identification System (RFID) is one of the most novel technologies to identify products available today. Within this system the most used frequency is UHF, but this often presents problems when interacting with metals and liquids. In the Log.ID-Lab at ZLC different tests have been conducted to show how in real/industrial applications we can achieve satisfactory results with both metals and liquids. Different tests will be presented, in which we will show the influence of different metals and liquids in the readings of RFID tags.
