ZLC provices several IT services to it’s students, staff and investigators, as well as welcomes users from partnering entities and guests to use it’s IT infrastructure. To get access to any of these services, please contact ZLC’s IT support department.

Wireless networks

ZLC has several wireless networks at the user’s disposal. Depending on the type of user that you are, you may use one or another

ZLC students can use the “eduroam” wireless network at the center. To know how to connect, please check the “Eduroam” section below

ZLC has joined Eduroam. Please connect to the “eduroam” wireless network present at the center using your institution’s original username and password. To do so, please refer to your institution’s eduroam instructions or ask our IT support department to help you out.

ZLC has a wireless network available for guests called “ZLC_Guests”. This wireless network is available only for our guests and requires a temporary code to access it. If you haven’t been given one, please ask the reception desk or the IT support department for one

Eduroam

ZLC has joined Eduroam, which is a worldwide joint effort to make wireless roaming easy between academic and research institutions. This means that ZLC users can use ZLC’s wireless network with their ZLC username and password, but it allows them to also use the same wireless network present in thousands of places around the world.

To connect to the “eduroam” wireless network as a ZLC user, please download the corresponding client configuration tool for your device by accessing here: https://cat.eduroam.org

When asked for a username and password make sure you input your ZLC username ([email protected]) and your password.
