Since the beginning of your professional career in your native Argentina, you have been involved in operations, business, and international trade departments, holding positions of increasing responsibility. What did you know about the program before submitting your application?
At that time, certain personal circumstances led me to move to Zaragoza, and taking advantage of the opportunity, I had decided to further my studies since I would have the time to do so. The Master’s program offered by ZLC was a good option, given my academic background and professional experience. However, before deciding, I consulted several colleagues and former professors who had been in Spain. They also put me in contact with other professors and professionals from Zaragoza, from whom I received excellent feedback about the ZLC Master’s program. All of that inspired me and helped me decide to pursue the master’s degree.

Once you finished the Master’s, you started working at Fersa Bearings in the Supply Chain Management department through ZLC’s job placement service. Has your experience in the MDSC been the springboard you expected to enter the European job market?
The knowledge acquired during the Master’s and the experience gained while working at Fersa Bearings have both been valuable assets. Personally, I believe that daily personal effort is the best springboard, but the Master’s was definitely a great complement to the education and professional experience I had already developed in my career. The Master’s allowed me to expand my knowledge, and my professional experience at Fersa Bearings gave me a European perspective on logistics and supply chain management.
To what extent did your specialization in a Master’s program like the MDSC help you tackle technical and high-responsibility professional challenges such as those you faced at DFE Pharma and Airbus?
Without a doubt, both my undergraduate education and my postgraduate studies through the MDSC have been valuable foundations in my professional training. I am convinced that the knowledge I acquired has been very relevant in addressing the challenges I faced in both companies. However, it is also fair to say that continuous learning is always necessary. In my case, for example, in addition to several technical and professional courses focused on management and leadership, I have been certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
What lessons or skills acquired in the MDSC have you found most useful in your new professional stage at Airbus? Which of those skills are applied in Airbus’s Supply Chain Management?
It is difficult to identify a specific skill or piece of knowledge directly related to my daily professional activity at Airbus. I am currently more focused on process optimization, and in that sense, general logistics knowledge and experience combine with other technical tools such as Lean Six Sigma. I tend to view education from a broader perspective. The studies I completed in the MDSC, together with my background and work experience in international trade, have provided a valuable foundation of knowledge throughout my career. But as I mentioned earlier, continuous learning is key, and today my Lean Six Sigma skills are undoubtedly my most valuable tool. Nonetheless, the knowledge and overall perspective gained in the MDSC have been an important part of my professional development.
What advice would you give to those who are considering taking a leap in their career by pursuing the Master in Supply Chain Management?
Without a doubt, I highly recommend the MDSC at ZLC. It offers first-class education and a comprehensive perspective on the field, which will surely be a highly valuable asset in their careers.
Thank you very much, Nadia! We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
