We recently hosted two visitors from Roche,a leader in research-focused healthcare and the world’s largest Biotech company. David LaPré, Head of Pharma Global Technical Operations, and Andreu Torregrosa, a Technical Product Leader, were introduced to students and presented some fascinating insights into some of the key logistics challenges they are facing on a day-to-day basis at Roche.
The main topics included how Roche is helping increase access to healthcare, the efforts they are making to maintain supply chain integrity, how they are effectively managing their product portfolio and also the work they are undertaking to increase supply resilience.
The main conclusion is that maintaining an effective supply chain is challenging and requires the dedication and focus of all the people involved.
