Project Description

The main aim of this study is to put together a compendium of Good Practices that may serve as a guide for consultation as to how companies’ logistics activities can be improved. The study analyses the most common logistics requirements, as well as the most frequent problems companies face.

Together with the good practices manual, the study suggests certain management indicators for these activities that may serve as a system to measure the merit of practices. It is important for companies to find a way of optimizing their logistics throughout the supply chain and thus make both product and information flows among its agents more flexible, minimizing costs as much as possible and ensuring that the information flows without interruptions.

It is a tool SMEs can use to help them analyse their own logistics activities.
