Dr. Laura Wagner
Laura Wagner is an assistant professor of Operations Management at Catolica Lisbon School of Business & Economics. For her research “Optimal Procurement Policies for Goods from Genuine and Potentially Counterfeit Sources“, she was honoured with the “Best PhD Project Award” at ICORES 2014 Conference. As a doctoral student, she spent time at MIT, Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and University of Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
Prior to her PhD, Laura received an MBA from the University of Sankt Gallen in Switzerland and ESADE in Barcelona, as well as a Master in Mechanical Engineering and Economics at the Technical University of Graz in Austria. In addition, she has gained business and management experience in several industries, ranging from logistics consulting and product management to test and program management at leading companies including Bosch Rexroth, Protema Logistics Consulting and ThyssenKrupp Presta AG.
